General Terms and Conditions





By finalising the order, the consumer agrees to the following delivery, payment terms and conditions defined in this contract. Changes and alterations to this contract must be submitted in written form and confirmed in writing by SOUTH AFRICAN GOODIES GBR. Verbal comments are not accepted as valid terms or conditions.


By submitting an order to SOUTH AFRICAN GOODIES the transaction is binding for both parties. You will automatically be informed via Email upon receipt of your order. A second mail will be sent to you confirming the status of your order. Information related to the order will be stored. Registered customers have access to this information by logging in with their user name and password.


All payments are to be pre-paid before delivery by choosing one of the following payment types: Bank Transfer or PAYPAL.

PAYPAL is only possible for Customers based in Germany with German bank accounts.

NB:  Due to the nature of our products, should payment not be received within five (5) working days after receipt of our order confirmation, your order will be considered null and void and consequently cancelled.



All prices are including VAT. We reserve the right to modify our prices without prior notice.


Delivery Period

The order will normally be processed on receipt and submitted for delivery within 4-5 working days after receipt of payment. If an item is temporarily out of stock or for some other reason undeliverable, you will be informed immediately by Email. We are permitted to make a part delivery. The consumer will not be charged for any additional delivery costs incurred. Products that are no longer available from our suppliers will be cancelled and refunded.


Receipt of Order

You are committed to accept delivery of the order. If goods are returned resulting from an incorrect delivery address, we reserve the right to charge you for any related costs incurred. This also applies for refusing delivery.



Although your goods are thoroughly checked and carefully packed prior to shipping, we kindly request you to check the content of the package immediately upon delivery. If damage is evident please inform us immediately. Complaints can be submitted within three (3) days after receiving delivery either by telephone or Email. It is, however, imperative that a written complaint is received at SOUTH AFRICAN GOODIES within the valid period.


Right of Cancellation

The consumer can cancel the order within two weeks of delivery without giving any reason by either stating this in writing or by returning the goods to the following address:

The consumer is obligated to return the goods including the original invoice after submitting written cancellation. Postage receipts should be retained by the consumer for future reference.

The postage costs are to be paid by the consumer providing;

  • The goods are as ordered
  • The goods do not exceed the value of € 30.00

We reserve the right to claim compensation for goods that have been damaged and /or show signs of use. The goods must be in the original packaging and undamaged. Goods that are exempt from return are:

  • products that are unsuitable for return by normal methods
  • perishable goods
  • products where the expiry date has been reached or exceeded
  • products where the individual package seal has been broken

Reservation of proprietary rights

All goods remain the property and ownership of SOUTH AFRICAN GOODIES GBR until full payment is made. Should one or more terms in this contract prove to be void, the procedures defined in the remaining conditions continue to be unaffected thereof.
